We provide funded places within Sure Steps for children aged  6 months to 4 years. All children of working parents are entitled to the expanded offering of a 30 hours per week funded place, universal offer of 15 hours a week for all 3&4 year olds and  within an educational setting and supported two 2 year old funding for 15 hours a week all for 38 term weeks of the year Reduced weekly hours may be stretched over the full year. The year is split into three terms of:

• Autumn - 13 weeks

• Spring - 11 weeks

• Summer 14 weeks

Each term will contain one week half term. The Nursery is closed over the Christmas week, opening the first working day in January.

We take care of all the application processes for you and we receive a payment direct from the local authority for all the funded education places we provide. We offer the same Nursery Education Grant Funded (NEG) places as school nurseries and pre-schools. We may also receive Disability Access Funding, Early Years Pupil Premium Funding or English as an Additional Language if English is not your first language. Please enquire for further details of eligibility and how the funding may be used.

We charge a supplement to cover the cost of meals and activities that are not included in the EYFS funding offer.  Your child will receive breakfast, lunch and dinner along with 2 snack times throughout the day, and we can stretch the funded place to be all year round. All excursions and trips are also included in the supplement. Currently the supplementary fee is £3 per morning or afternoon 5 hour session.
